My Fabulous Life: Cleopatra Exhibit

I am fascinated with Ancient Egyptology. I can't get enough of the National Geographic shows like "Mysteries of Egypt" and "The Tomb of King Tutenkhamun".  It's so intriguing to me. The opulence of the temples and palaces and  the super intelligence of the time fascinates me to no end. Recently I was able to visit the Cleopatra exhibit at the California Science Center. Here are a few snapshots from my day:

Here I am with my babygirl just before going to see the exhibit. How is it that I am the only one excited about being here? This child...I am determined to make her a Egyptian Lover, I swear!
At the end of the tour I saw a quick video with Dr. Zahi Hawass, veteran Egyptian archaeologist, where he hinted that since they unearthed all of these amazing relics in underwater Ancient Alexandria, they now have a better sense of where to begin looking for Cleopatra's body. SO EXCITING!

Ok, so now you know I am a geek. It's alright, I totally embrace my geekiness for Egyptology! TOTALLY!

Hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my geeky life.

Until Next Time, Stay Fabulous!
