Last week I shared a beautiful intimate San Francisco City Hall wedding and a super adorable elopement session. But what about the couple who is already married but chooses to celebrate their love with family and friends at a wonderful party? That is exactly what Farhan and Lucy did at gorgeous
Point Lobos Estate in Carmel. Lucy is a talented artist who took care to create some of the FABULOUS details at their celebration including a hanging sculpture designed out of chicken wire that served as a visual barrier into the food preparation area complete with fabric circles on string; a console covered with photographs and topped with glass; outdoor tables covered in hand cut fabrics and vintage bottles. Farhan and Lucy's mothers each prepared their favorite meals to serve to guests. I am absolutely head over heels in love with Lucy's amazing dress! The day was filled with personal touches, unity and love. Check it out for yourself...
From Lucy {the bride}:
Suzanne Hanley, owner of Atelier Des Modistes in San Francisco, created the dress. I had some ideas about the dress and some fabric from Britex Fabrics on San Francisco, and we went from there. My shoes weren't really that fancy. I think they're actually an imitation of a pair of Valentino's that I could never afford. :) They were embellished with a bit of pink ribbon, from Britex Fabrics, a little sparkle using beads from General Bead and the handiword on my savior friend, Nadia Khan, who swooped in at the last minute to make them happen.
I love this wedding celebration so much!
Carlie Statsky Photography did such a great job captureing the day. So good that I feel like I was actually there experiencing their joy. And how about that cake topper replica of Lucy's dress? LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Until Next Time, Stay Fabulous!
