Who ever said rock climbing and weddings don't go hand in hand never met Karissa and Jason. Rock climbers and adventurers at heart, they chose to have a destination wedding in El Portal, California that began with a RV road trip through Sonoma with a little rock climbing to kick off their celebration. Their wedding was both eco friendly and DIY. The ceremony was held on Sentinel Beach in Yosemite Valley with the reception being held in El Portal. Karissa's wedding dress was handmade, the food was from a local organic caterer, all linens, plates and glassware were purchased at local thrift stores or "upcycled". I love that the jewelry the bride and bridesmaids wore were made from found objects! This wasn't just a green wedding but was a true reflection of the couple's lifestyle.
